The Chicago Humanities Festival connects people to the ideas that shape and define us, and promotes the lifelong exploration of what it means to be human. From 2016-2018, I was the Production and Planning Manager for the festival and produced around 160 talks, live performances, and event activations a year in around 40+ venues throughout the city of Chicago. Since then, I have periodically consulted with the festival on a variety of initiatives. Most recently, I provided production and programming services for the CHF Neighborhood Initiative. This series was co-created with 20+ local partners on the South Side of Chicago and with support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the initiative focuses on building deeper, more sustained connections in Chicago neighborhoods through programming that reflects community priorities.
